- Eat with enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.
- Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
- On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
- On hot days, drink lots of water and lay under a shady tree.
- Avoid biting, when a simple growl will do.
- If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
- When you are happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
- When your loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
- When someone is having a bad day, be silent and sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.
- Be loyal. No matter how often you are scolded, run right back and make friends.

This is a great list of things we can learn from dogs. I like it!
I like the way you see things... and dogs are indeed very smart and loyal I wish other people who treats them badly can read this and realize that dogs are great friends.
can you give this to my cat? she is severely missing the last one on the list about cuddling with me!
How very true! Just dropping by to let you know I find your blog interesting and inspirational .. a good look on how life is/should be.
Cheers!
It's amazing what animals can teach us, isn't it? This is some great advice.
You have a wonderful blog, I'll be back!

Great post. I agree with all of your points but I'm afraid that my dog has a problem with the first one "Eat with enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough." She eats with enthusiasm but there's no way she'd ever stop even if she'd had enough. LOL Labs have an unlimited appetite. :)
