Contentment

I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.
- Philippians 4:11 -

At the time of this writing, Paul was in jail in Rome.

Charged with sedition, treason, and other crimes, he had appealed to the highest court: Caesar himself.

He had to wait for his case to be heard.

Paul had the right to be impatient and unhappy.

But he told the Philippians that he had learned to be content.

He had learned to accept whatever came his way.

When we are faced with pains and difficulties, let us learn to trust God and be content.

Whatever comes our way is God’s choice!

Let us accept and rejoice in all He send.
