Our Heavenly Father

This, then, is how you should pray: "Our Father in heaven..."
- Matthew 6:9 -

This is how we must pray: we are to direct our prayer to God the Father.

Since He is our God, we are to worship Him, and Him alone. We are to submit to all His teachings. We are to serve Him all our lives. And we are to hallow His Name. We are to seek His Kingdom and build His Church. We are to wait patiently for the Coming of His beloved Son while doing all His bidding.

Since God is our Father, we are to honor Him and and respect Him. We are to hold Him in the highest esteem. We are to fear Him. We are to bring glory to Him. We are to call on Him and be intimate with Him to hear and listen what He is saying and be obedient to it.

Since God is in Heaven, He is all powerful. He is all seeing. He is all knowing. He is sovereign and in full control over everything that happens. His will will be done. His Kingdom will be established in its fullness.

Thank God for being our Heavenly Father.
